We protect biodiversity!

At the end of October, we organised workshops where we were building nesting boxes for birds.

For this event, we invited local community and employees of Re Alloys and Luma Services. Also, the foresters of the Kobiór Forest Division honoured us with their presence and they brought closer various aspects of their job. Most of all, they shared some incredible knowledge on our native bird species.

At the workshops, where the entire families were taking part, as many as 30 nesting boxes were constructed. We were impressed seeing the engagement of the youngest kids in putting the boxes together.

Such initiatives teach not only social attitudes. They educate, show how to respect the surrounding environment. They are also an interesting alternative for leisure time.

The boxes were given to the foresters and we hope that next spring birds are going to incubate their young there.

Together we create a better tomorrow for the local biodiversity.
